Laughs
after Loss
I developed a comprehensive visual identity for the Loves after Loss podcast with internet personalities, Robin and Emma Rosenthal. This included the logo, color palette, typography system, mascot design, social media assets, video segment screens, thumbnails, profile images, and channel banners. The branding was built around the concept of juxtaposition; balancing the lighthearted, comedic nature of the hosts with the more serious themes of grief and remembrance.
A muted blue serves as the primary brand color, conveying sincerity, while bold accent colors introduce energy and personality. The typography pairs an expressive cursive typeface with a clean sans-serif, reinforcing the contrast between emotional storytelling and contemporary entertainment. The custom french fry mascot was created as a recurring brand element, inspired by the family's tradition of throwing fries on their husband and father's grave.
